CELBMD EXCELLENCE AWARDS.
The CELBMD Excellence Awards are the social enterprise
leading awards. They recognize and celebrate the outstanding work of
individuals, teams and organizations across Bui Division and Cameroon as a
whole. Center
for Entrepreneurship, Leadership and
Business Management Development (CELBMD) supports organizations dedicated to
making positive social impact. Social ventures exist for the primary purpose of
tackling particular social issues or creating specific social impact. CELBMD’s
perspective is that more social ventures are needed to tackle the diverse
challenges facing society and the environment. This new award is looking for an
initiative that has delivered or will deliver the most impressive impact on
society in terms of social, environmental and economic impact. The aim of the
Awards is to increase awareness of the role and diversity of social enterprises
in Bui Division by creating a long term, high profile event. To encourage
mutual support, inter-trading, sharing of best practice, training and
development opportunities between social enterprises. To work with
local, regional, national, transnational bodies to strengthen the social
enterprise sector.
